This warning indicates that either the adjustment data is corrupted on the internal flash, or there is USB data loss when transferring that data to the PC (which occurs during the open process). You can keep using the instrument, but either scenario would result in potentially incorrect measurements.

– What is the make/model/OS of the PC?
– Are you using a USB hub?
– Do you have a different USB cable you can try?
– What is the S/N of the instrument?
